GONE  FISHIN'

In poetic timing with the annual homecoming of the Pacific salmon, Paul Clymer departed from our world to his forever fishing waters on October 15th, 2023 - just a few days after his 75th birthday. Paul’s childhood nurtured a love for nature that would continue to grow throughout his life. He explored, hunted, and fished lands along the West Coast from Alaska to Oregon, accompanied by his beloved dogs and children. Paul spent many years in the hospitality industry, where he developed a passion for food and cooking, but eventually discovered a love for education, and became a teacher for Everett Public Schools, adored by students and faculty alike. One of Paul’s strengths was his positive outlook on life, always maintaining a hopeful optimism towards the future. And so, let us all remember him warmly, and send our own prayers and hopes along with him… Paul Clymer’s now got all the time in the world to land his biggest fish yet.
